Play-Doh Sweet Bakin' Creations

We reviewed our community helpers last week and mom decided to open this box of Play-Doh Sweet Bakin' Creations.

She thought it would be fun to be bakers for the day!

Here's what you'll find inside the box:

An oven

Some cookie molds

Some muffin cups

An extruder, plate, rolling pin and cake server

cake cutters and candle mold

and 4 cans of Play-Doh

There's also a tip at the bottom of the box that teaches how to make a Play-Doh pie.

You can watch our unboxing here:

Play-Doh is a great learning aid that we use for a lot of our lessons. It's also a great way to strengthen my tiny hands and fingers.

Fisher Price Doctor's Kit

I don't like going to the doctor. I like my doctor but I just don't like the needles and all that fuss and attention. So, mom got me this doctor's kit so that we can play doctor-patient at home. This is also great to use when learning about community helpers.

It says on the box that the stethoscope really works. We tried it but we can't really hear our heart beat although when you tap on the chestpiece, you can hear a sound similar to the sound you hear when you tap on a real stethoscope. The ear tips are also too big even for mom and dad so I still really can't use it. Mom says her ears hurt whenever she uses this.

The set also includes a bandaid, thermometer, injection, a blood pressure cuff, otoscope and a bag to carry it all. I like using the injection and bandaid.

Kinetic Sand Review

Hi, everyone! We are running way behind with our blogging. However, you can visit us on YouTube at Isaac's Magical Toy Closet. We regularly upload videos. Oh, and please don't forget to Subscribe so you don't miss out on all the fun!

Anyway, today we will share with you our Kinetic Sand and our thoughts about it. This is the brown version.

This is a good fine motor activity as it strengthens the fingers and hands. Kinetic Sand looks and feels like real sand but finer in texture.

You can use them with molds and cutters.

To avoid mess, we put the sand in a container. We got the animal cookie cutters from the National Bookstore Warehouse sale for only 20 pesos.

The only thing we don't like about Kinetic Sand is that it gets everywhere. It sticks to our hands, face, legs and hair. If you sweat, the sand will stick to you. It's also hard to clean up. Mom says it's also very expensive. There are now many cheaper alternatives at Toys R Us and other toy shops. My aunt actually gave me one and we featured it here:

Thanks guys and talk to you again soon! Don't forget to check us out on YouTube!
