Japanese Touch Bubbles

We love bubbles! They are cheap but pack so much fun! Mom got this tube of Japanese Touch Bubbles at Daiso. We gave away a bunch as gifts and left some for our own use. We brought one to the park and it was a big hit not just with me but with the other kids as well.

These touch bubbles are so-called because you can touch them and they don't pop immediately. You can hold a bunch in your hands. They are very sticky so mom really doesn't like me touching them. I don't mind because I still prefer popping them. Teehee!

Oh, and Snoopy says hi!

How to Train Your Dragon 2 Happy Meal Toys

Hey guys! How was your weekend? Mine was great! Mom got me a few more toys to add to her gift closet. They will be mine soon!

Anyway, check out these How to Train Your Dragons 2 toys from the McDonald's Happy Meals. I am featuring them as I was only able to watch the movie a few days ago.

I'm not sure about the names though. I would appreciate a comment. I think these are Cloud Jumper and Terrible Terror.

My Play Dough Collection and Organization

You all know my whole family is crazy about play dough. I'd like to share with you my collection. If you are new to blogging, this is by no means bragging. It's like when fashion and beauty bloggers share their hauls or collections. This is sharing and giving people an idea of what's out there.

The photo below is mom's haul from Toys 'R Us. They had a crazy buy 5 get 1 sale a few moons ago so mom and grandma stocked up.

This is how mom organizes my play dough collection. I have a toy drawer. Each drawer has a designated set of toys. This drawer houses my Imagination Creation play dough

This drawer has my Play-Doh. I actually have more but mom kept some of them as I wanted to open every single one! Teehee! Oh, I just put the Mickey coin bank there to join in on the photo.

How do you organize your play dough? I'd love to know. Share in the comments section below!

Disney Planes Surprise Eggs

We love surprise eggs so when mom saw these Planes surprise eggs at Toys 'R Us, she grabbed a few.

Check out our video of mom opening the eggs!

Leap Pad Laptop for Babies and Toddlers

We all know that kids of this generation are exposed to technology at a young age. I am no exception what with an IT guy for a dad. Mom and dad got me this laptop when we went on vacation in Singapore. I’ve been using it since I was 7 months old. Mom decided to buy it so that she can work in peace because I keep fiddling with her laptop while she works. Teehee!

This is a great learning toy! It keeps me occupied for a long time. I learned my ABCs from this toy.

It has several functions for toddlers of different ages – ABC, Messages (where Scout emails me and reads the emails aloud), Games (guessing the animal) and music. I can play songs or use the keyboard as a piano.

Now when mom works, she just brings out my laptop and we can work side by side!

Jake and the Neverland Pirates Busy Book

jake and the neverland pirates busy book

Hey guys! Today, I’d like to share with you my busy book. Jake and the Neverland Pirates is one of my favorite shows. I especially like Captain Hook. I was really happy when mom bought me this.
This set includes a book, a play mat and play figures.

This is a huge mat that depicts the different places in Neverland. It’s made of paper so we don’t usually pull this out.

And, here’s the gang!

These are small toys so they are not for younger kids who still put things in their mouth. Mom allows me to play with this set because she knows I don’t do that anymore. Teehee!

Mom got me another busy book but that’s for my birthday so it will have to wait. I hope you enjoyed today’s featured toy!

Mickey Mouse Rotating Night Light

Mickey Mouse Rotating Night Light with Books

Hey, guys! Moms and dads, have you ever noticed how expensive night lights are especially the ones for babies? Well, here’s a more affordable product. This is the Mickey Mouse Rotating Night Light. It costs Php999.75 and includes 5 books. It has music and lights. It has everything you need for a peaceful beddy bye time.

There are 3 buttons. One is for music, the other one is light and the third one is for both music and light.

Check out this video that mom made to see it in action.

For girls, you can also get a Sofia the First Lamp.

Is Buying a Box of (Local) Kinder Joy Worth It?

IMG_1934

Let’s face it. Most kids are crazy about Kinder Joy or surprise eggs. I, for one, am crazy about them! I get excited whenever mom hands me one. S&R sells them by boxes of 6. Grandma got me a box. I wasn’t really thrilled with what I got.

IMG_1935

The thing about these local surprise eggs is that the advertised toys don’t usually match what’s inside the eggs. This box was a pretty good match but I still got disappointed with the quality of the toys and the excitement factor. Now don’t go saying “but it’s just 50 pesos!” I know. Why are the imported counterparts so much better? Are they priced higher?

IMG_1939

For this box, I mostly got identical toys so in reality, I only got 3 kinds of toys.

The most fun I’ve had with the local surprise eggs is when I got an orange Hot Wheels but then again, the quality is not so good as the pieces don’t fit perfectly. Dad had a hard time connecting the two parts and they’re still crooked.

Mom pretty much stopped buying these eggs (unless they’re the Hot Wheels version. )

On the other hand, Mom and I go crazy over these eggs:

Each egg contains a robot. Isn’t that cool?

Sorry, I don’t have a photo of the finished bot as dad and I kinda wrecked them as soon as mom finished building them. Teehee!

Lightning McQueen Soda Can Bubble Maker

lightning soda can bubble maker

Sorry, I don’t have a video of how this toy works but it’s fairly simple. The soda can has a little space for the bubbles. You don’t have to fill the whole can, just that portion. Attach the straw and blow! Never sip as you will surely drink the bubbles!

We love this set as it’s very easy to make bubbles compared to other sets. Mom got this on sale for around Php50, I think. But that was last year. We like bringing this to the park where I (and the other kids) go crazy popping the bubbles.

Oh, yeah and that’s El Chu at the back.

Budget Buy–Play-Doh Party Pack

You all know we love Play-Doh. We play with it every day. I have quite a big collection. Mom stocks up a lot. If you are on a budget like mom, here’s a great Play-Doh buy for you.

IMG_1819

It’s the Play-Doh Party Pack. It comes with 10 mini cans.

IMG_1818

IMG_1820

Don’t you just love freshly opened Play-Doh? This is also a great gift or giveaway. Mom got this for a little over Php200. Mom gets 2 cans and puts them in my going out kit. She saves the others, well, because I’ll just open them all up in one go! Tee hee!

Play Dough Doughnuts

Doh-Dough Crispy Doughnuts

Hey guys! Sorry I was away for so long. You know I got sick and now mom is sick. She got my virus. She also organized the photos and it’s taking her a long time to group them. These are the first in the bunch.

play dough doughnuts

The box and mold are from this set.

IMG_1785

Sometimes I just make doughnut balls and for kicks, I put my red poker chips as a topper. Teehee!

Doughnuts, anyone?
